As I am working today, and we've had quite a stressful week we decided to treat ourselves to a date night. We went to the fotografiska museet to have a look at the Anton Corbijn collection of portraiture of famous musicians like the Rolling Stones, U2 and Boy George. A quote from their website that compeletely sums up the exhibition is; 'Fotografiska proudly presents photography from a lost world, where creativity and intuition was God, instead of Mammon. An era where the musicians, and the photographer Anton Corbijn, took themselves and each other to constantly new levels of expressing true passion for their art.'
Later we went to the next floor to continue looking at the art and went into the Exhibiton 'Finally it all makes sense' Diesel advertising show. This was extremely interesting as a lot of their adverts are rather controversial and some people complained a lot about them, but this exhibition showed that behind each image was a message about enviromental issues, Gay rights or anything that is an issue in our world that needs to be addressed, hence the title it all makes sense.
