This weekend I have my parents and brother visiting from England and then my brother leaves tonight and my parents stay a little longer. It is so nice to have my 'home' here with me and to feel like my English and Swedish life is combined. Yesterday was the most lovely day where my parents met my friends, its nice to put names to faces and to get to have the same feeling as you do at school when your parents know all your friends because they spend most of the time at your house with you and your parents organise with their parents if they can sleep over or not. We sat all together in il cafe drinking coffee and chatting about whether we rely on social media too much and what changes there will be in our future and how we raise our kids compared to my parents generation due to technology. After we had a delicious dinner in Ling Long before having a last drink and heading home. I spend a lot of time at Ling Long but have never actually eaten properly there, but it was delicious and so much fun trying different foods and sharing everything together.
Today was the introducing the parents kind of day, I was so nervous before hand because its super nerv racking introducing your parents to your partners parents but also because I would have to be translating between Swedish and English due to the language barrier, but it could not have gone better. Adi's parents speak a lot more English then they have let on to me, and everything felt natural and fun together, I am extremely relieved and feel good about the fact they have now met.
I didn't have time unfortunately to blog this weekend, I have just been super busy showing and traveling and soaking in having my parents here but have some fun different products to show you guys and have been trying some stuff out with my mum so that I can have some more opinions on products and ideas on what to share with you all. I am also going to be trying to do another video this week, I have my parents here and then a weekend trip so will try to find time, maybe I will let my parents be in it, would you like to see that?
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and had some great family time, I have been talking a lot about sustainability with my parents who also have a big love for the environment and showing them all the cool new products and things I have been introduced to that could make a difference in out lives.
This picture was taken at Olivia's just before we went out last Friday night to have some girls time and talk about our future! Have a great Sunday evening and a great start to a new and exciting week.
