It is finally the first day of Spring and I was very happy to find the sun was shinning all day. It is not warm here however, below 0 is the usual and I am not getting my hopes up too high but I am absolutely making the most of every day in the sunshine.
After school today, I decided to take a walk around the city and stumbled across the Myrorna second hand store that is on Sveavägen. A friend of mine had told me about it and so I was very excited to explore this shop. It is incredible, with a large open basement space filled with lots of clothing I will definitely be going back to do a proper shop soon but with a quick walk round I found a beautiful shirt I will be sharing with you soon. I love finding little hidden shops like this one where you can just happily walk around immersing yourself in all the different types of clothing. I am actually going home to England this weekend and that is on my agenda with my mum. We have some really nice second-hand stores so I am excited to have a look and see if I find any new items to add to my wardrobe.
Whilst on my walk I decided to go to a really big makeup store that is at the central station, I am looking to get my mum so new Organic makeup so decided to do that shop before I came home. After walking around in circles, I managed to find one counter that is certified ECO which is Estelle and Thild, they had it very clearly marked that it was organic and had the information to prove it. For me that was perfect however the prices were a little high for me at this point in my life. I asked for some assistance but the lady had no idea if any products in the store were natural or organic so that was not very helpful at all. So here is my question, WHERE ARE ALL THE ORGANIC PRODUCTS AT? I don’t want to shop online, I like to see the colours right in front of me, try it on my skin to make sure it matches and then finally decided if I want to buy it so I really really want to be able to find better places where you can find all the different organic products.
I will be looking, keeping my eye out and asking so that I can get back to you on where and when the products will be coming to us in both London and Stockholm!
I literally cannot wait until the day when it doesn’t cost twice as much as other products and is easily accessible, just as much as I can’t wait to be able to shop sustainable clothing in stores as well. I have recently see that Zara have launched a new Join Life range which I will be investigating and reporting back to you soon. Other than that my life has been a lot of work, sleep and eat but I will be sharing my stay at the Downtown Camper hotel this week and of course my exciting trip home.
Here are some pictures during my stay at the hotel of a really cute t-shirt Olivia gave to me, I have an obsession with t-shirts that have text of a cute picture on the front so you can imagine how happy I was when Olivia gifted this to me. We enjoyed a very delicious ecological breakfast and were reminded that taking a moment to love and appreciate our lives is always needed. I hope you like the pictures and if you have any favourite spots to shop organic I would love to know about it.
